When one family member carries the emotional labor

Our family group chat has become this place where my mom sends updates about her health issues and my siblings either respond with heart emojis or don't respond at all, and I'm the only one who actually calls her back or asks follow-up questions. I'm starting to resent everyone but I also don't know how to bring it up without sounding like I'm keeping score of who cares more.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The invisible work of staying connected is falling unevenly across family members, creating resentment and distance in a system that desperately needs more care, not less.
