When family caregiving responsibilities feel unequal

Our family has a group text where my brothers and I check in about taking care of our aging parents but my oldest brother always responds like he's in charge of everything and the rest of us are helpers. It's starting to make me not want to engage but if I step back then more falls on my sister and that doesn't feel fair either.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Old sibling dynamics are reasserting themselves at exactly the moment when adult collaboration is most needed.
