When families lose their traditional gathering points and connection rituals

Our family has always been the one that hosts holidays and brings everyone together, but my mom is getting older and can't do it anymore and none of us kids have stepped up to take over. Last Thanksgiving was awkward and small and this Christmas is coming up and we're all just hoping someone else will figure it out. We're losing the thing that made us feel like a real family and nobody wants to be the one to say it out loud.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The structures that once held a family together are crumbling, and everyone is waiting for someone else to rebuild what's been lost.
