When community spaces become hostile

Our neighborhood book club started as a way to build community but it's become dominated by two women who argue about everything and make political digs at each other. The rest of us are getting exhausted by the tension but nobody wants to be the one to address it directly.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The desire for connection is being sabotaged by the unwillingness to set boundaries around destructive behavior.
