How communities handle burnout among core organizers

Our neighborhood group started during the pandemic to help each other out and it was really beautiful at first, but now it's become this thing where the same few people do all the organizing and everyone else just shows up when they need something. Some of us are getting burned out but we also don't want to let the whole thing fall apart because people do depend on it.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The same generosity that creates mutual aid can become unsustainable when the work of caring isn't truly shared.
