Our neighborhood has a group chat where people share information about local issues but it's turned into a place where a few people complain constantly about everything and others have stopped participating entirely. Those of us who are still engaged don't know whether to try to redirect the culture or just let it die, but we actually need this communication tool to work.
More people experience this than they realize.
