Our unschooling co-op used to feel like this amazing supportive community but now there are these subtle but real divisions between the families who are more 'radical unschoolers' and those of us who still do some structured learning, and I don't know how to address it without seeming like I'm taking sides.
More people experience this than they realize.
A learning community is fracturing along ideological lines, and someone needs to name the growing distance before it destroys the very connections that make alternative education possible.
