When unschooling groups develop hierarchies

Our unschooling support group started as this beautiful circle of families learning together but it's slowly become dominated by a few voices who seem to have all the answers, and the rest of us are starting to feel like we're doing it wrong.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community built on the rejection of traditional authority structures has recreated them in subtler forms, silencing the very questioning and exploration it was meant to foster.
