Planning memorial services across different beliefs

My brother and I are trying to plan our father's memorial service and we grew up Catholic but neither of us practices anymore but some of the family still does and we want to honor who Dad was without being dishonest about who we've become. Every conversation about readings and music and whether to have a priest becomes a negotiation between past and present that feels impossible to resolve.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Death demands rituals that can hold both the faith of the departed and the authentic grief of those who remain, regardless of where their spiritual journeys have led them.
