When siblings explore different early Christian alternatives and drift apart

My brother and I have both become fascinated with early Christian diversity after growing up in a very orthodox household, but he's drawn to Gnostic ideas about divine knowledge while I'm more interested in the social justice aspects of other early movements. Our conversations keep turning into debates about which path is more 'authentic' and I can feel us drifting apart over something that initially brought us together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Shared spiritual curiosity about Christianity's diverse origins becomes a source of division when different paths speak to different souls.
