When meditation partners experience different rates of spiritual progress

My meditation partner and I have been practicing together for three years and lately they've been talking about having breakthrough experiences and feeling close to liberation while I'm still struggling with the most basic concentration and it's making me question whether I'm capable of awakening at all. We used to support each other through the difficulties but now there's this unspoken tension where I feel left behind and I think they feel guilty about their progress.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two practitioners discover that spiritual awakening doesn't unfold at the same pace, creating an unexpected hierarchy in what was meant to be a shared journey toward liberation.
