Scenario

When siblings with different beliefs co-parent spiritual questions

My sister and I are both trying to figure out what to teach our kids about God and spirituality, but we come from such different places now - she's found a progressive church she loves and I'm more drawn to Buddhist ideas - and our kids ask us questions when we're all together that we don't know how to answer. We want to support each other as parents but we're worried about confusing the children or stepping on each other's approaches.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The tender work of transmitting wisdom to children becomes complex when the adults themselves hold different understandings of truth.
