Scenario

When siblings with different beliefs must make family decisions together

My sister and I were both raised in a strict religious household and while I've found my way to a gentler version of faith, she's gone completely secular, and now our parents are aging and we have to make decisions together about care and end-of-life stuff and we can't agree on what they would actually want. Every conversation becomes about our different relationships to what we grew up with.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two people must navigate practical choices while carrying the weight of shared history that led them to opposite spiritual conclusions.
