When children's questions challenge a family's religious foundation

My teenage daughter is asking hard questions about the faith tradition we've raised her in, and instead of just rebelling she wants to have real conversations about what we actually believe and why, and I realize I don't have good answers for some of her questions. My wife thinks we should just trust the process but I feel like our family's spiritual foundation is more fragile than we admitted.
