Our church council is trying to decide whether to allow same-sex marriages in our sanctuary and it's tearing us apart because we all love each other and we all want to follow what we think God is calling us to do but we're hearing completely different things. People who have been friends for decades are questioning each other's faith and I'm watching our community fracture over trying to do the right thing.
More people experience this than they realize.
