Scenario

When your congregation faces a divisive political decision

Our church leadership is asking the congregation to take a public stand on a political issue and about half of us think it's necessary prophetic witness while the other half think it's going to destroy our mission, and we're supposed to vote next week but we haven't found a way to even discuss it without people getting angry. This could split us permanently.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The collision between prophetic calling and community preservation when both feel essential to faithfulness.
