Scenario

When faith communities split over political engagement

Our congregation voted to become more politically active but a significant group of us believe faith should stay separate from politics and now Sunday services feel tense and divided and I don't know if we can worship together anymore. The thing that was supposed to unite us has become what divides us.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The call to live your beliefs has fractured your community over what those beliefs require in the world.
