When interfaith dialogue becomes interfaith debate

Our interfaith book club started as a beautiful way to learn from each other but lately every discussion becomes an argument about whose interpretation is correct and people are getting their feelings hurt and taking things personally. The Rabbi and the Pastor who facilitate are trying to keep peace but we've lost the openness we began with.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The hunger for truth is consuming the space where different truths could coexist and illuminate each other.
