How to handle dismissive behavior in interfaith dialogue groups

Our interfaith book club started as a way to build bridges but one of our members consistently dismisses other traditions in subtle ways that make several people uncomfortable and we're all conflict-avoidant people who came here seeking peace. The irony isn't lost on me but I don't know how to address it without becoming the problem myself.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The very qualities that draw us toward bridge-building can leave us unprepared for the conflict that genuine encounter sometimes requires.
