How interfaith groups navigate crisis events that divide communities

Our interfaith dialogue group started as a beautiful experiment in understanding between Christians, Muslims, and Jews, but after October 7th the conversations became so careful and tense that we're basically just reading prepared statements at each other. We all want to keep meeting but nobody knows how to get back to genuine exchange.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

World events have made honest interfaith dialogue feel both more necessary and more impossible, trapping them between authentic engagement and diplomatic safety.
