When interfaith dialogue becomes strained by current events

Our interfaith dialogue group was going well until the attacks last month and now everyone's being careful and polite instead of real, and I can feel us all retreating into our own corners even though this is exactly when we need to be talking more honestly, not less.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community built on bridging differences faces the test of whether it can hold tension without fracturing into protective separation.
