When spiritual practice becomes a way of avoiding rather than engaging

Our meditation group has been practicing together for three years and we've become really close, but lately I've been questioning whether what we're doing is just spiritual bypassing and I'm afraid to bring it up because I don't want to shatter everyone's sense of peace. We keep talking about letting go of attachment but no one wants to examine whether we're attached to avoiding difficulty.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community confronting the possibility that their sacred practice has become a beautiful cage.
