When spiritual groups struggle with structure versus openness

Our meditation group started as a way to explore spirituality together outside of organized religion, but it's becoming clear that some of us are looking for something more structured and others want to keep it completely open-ended. The conversations about what we're actually doing together are getting tense and I'm worried we're going to lose something beautiful because we can't agree on what it should be.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Communities born from shared seeking can fracture when members discover they are searching for different forms of the sacred.
