When secular spiritual groups develop religious tensions

Our meditation group started as a way to practice together without religious baggage, but lately people keep bringing up their personal spiritual beliefs and it's creating tension between those who want pure technique and those who want something more sacred. I don't know if we can stay together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The desire for transcendence refuses to remain safely contained within prescribed boundaries, forcing a community to confront what they actually seek together.
