When your spiritual community outgrows its original sacred intimacy

Our meditation group started as six close friends seeking something deeper together, but now it's grown to thirty people and the intimate sacred space we created has become performative and political and the original six of us don't know if we should try to reclaim it or let it evolve into something else entirely.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The very success of a spiritual community can threaten the vulnerable authenticity that made it sacred in the first place.
