When prayer groups lose their spiritual connection

Our prayer group has been meeting for eight years and lately when we pray together it feels hollow and I think we're all going through the motions but no one wants to be the first to say it. We started because we were all searching for something deeper and now I wonder if we've lost our way or if this emptiness is part of the path.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The form of practice continues while its living essence has quietly departed, leaving a community uncertain whether to grieve, seek renewal, or dissolve.
