When prayer groups become unbalanced by one person's needs

Our prayer group has been meeting for seven years and one person keeps dominating every discussion with their personal crises and the rest of us don't know how to create space for everyone without being cruel. We've started making excuses not to come and I can feel the whole thing dissolving.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The sacred container of shared practice is being strained by one member's overflow, and the group cannot find a way to hold both compassion and boundaries.
