When spiritual group members develop different levels of commitment

Our small meditation group started as friends seeking something together but now one person has become very devoted to a specific teacher while the rest of us want to keep exploring different approaches, and we're struggling with whether we can stay together as a group. The person who's found their path seems frustrated with our 'spiritual shopping' and we're feeling judged for not committing to what worked for them.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A seeking community is fracturing over the tension between devotion and exploration, certainty and questioning.
