When progressive spiritual communities discover their own internal divisions

Our small spiritual community started when several families wanted something more progressive than our old congregation, but now we're discovering that 'progressive' means very different things to different people and our kids are asking pointed questions about why we left the other church. Some families want to focus on social justice, others on meditation and contemplative practice, and we're all wondering if we bit off more than we can chew trying to create something new together.
