Scenario

When religious communities split over faith in action

Our synagogue hired a new rabbi who is pushing us toward social justice work that half the congregation thinks is too political and the other half thinks isn't radical enough. Board meetings have become battlegrounds and people are leaving but I still believe we can find our way through this together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A congregation discovers that agreeing on what is sacred does not guarantee agreement on how the sacred should move in the world.
