Scenario

When faith communities fracture over political and moral divisions

Our synagogue is tearing itself apart over Israel and Palestine and people who have celebrated every holiday together for decades are now avoiding each other and the rabbi is trying to stay neutral but it's not working. We don't know if our community can survive having this conversation or avoid having it.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Sacred community confronts the limits of unity when moral conviction demands taking sides in ways that threaten the very bonds that create belonging.
