This paradox reveals that authenticity is never about escaping language or convention entirely, but about developing sophistication within inherited linguistic structures. Language carries ideological assumptions: gendered pronouns, hierarchical titles, naturalized categories. Authentic expression doesn't mean abandoning these structures (which is impossible) but becoming aware of how they constrain and enable, then working creatively within and against them.
