When siblings must care for an aging parent together

Your parent needs care, and the weight is falling unevenly across you and your siblings. Old childhood roles resurface, resentment simmers, and the stress of it threatens the very family it is supposed to hold together.

What’s really going on

Caring for an aging parent is one of the great tests of a set of siblings, and it can either knit you together or break you apart. The difference is honesty and structure: name who is truly carrying what, divide the care by real capacity rather than guilt, and guard your bond with each other as fiercely as you guard your parent. You do not have to be equal. You have to be fair, and you have to stay a family through it. Let us build a way to share this.
