We keep raising scores. Is that really the work we're for?
You can take almost anyone and raise their score. You've proven that enough times that it no longer feels like a question. What you're really asking, together, is whether this is the best use of what you've built. Here is the honest answer: skill is not the same as purpose. You did not choose this game. You were handed it. You got good at it before you were ready to ask whether it mattered. That is not a failure. It is simply unfinished work. The fix is not to doubt your ability, or to wait for certainty. The fix is to name a larger target and point the same skill at it. Do this together, where you can check each other's excuses. Nobody becomes clear on purpose alone, in private, by thinking harder.
Your skill was never the question — your target was. You mastered a small game and now it feels too small. That discomfort is not doubt about your ability. It is information. Stop asking if you're good enough. Choose a bigger goal, together, and point your skill at it.
What changes unlock by starting
- A named goal larger than the one you were handed — written down, not just felt.
- A concrete next project that puts your skill against a bigger problem.
- A group agreement to check progress, not just intentions.
- Less private doubt, because the problem is now shared and visible.
