Why does it feel like I'm the one holding everything up?

You can look at a plan, a team, a system, and see exactly where it will crack. Most people cannot do this. It is a real skill, and it has made you the one everyone leans on. But you have quietly decided that if you stop checking, it falls. That no one else sees what you see. That is not humility — it is a claim about other people you have never tested. Test it. Working with others does not mean doing it more gently alone. It means giving away a piece of the load and finding out — not assuming — whether it holds.

This is less about missing knowledge and more about a habit of mind, so most of the work is coaching the choice to let go, not teaching new facts.

What’s really going on

You are not carrying the structure — you are carrying the belief that no one else can be trusted to hold it. That belief was never tested. Choose one part of the load and hand it to someone else. Watch whether it falls. Then you will know what is true, and what was only fear.

A moveName one piece of the structure you alone are holding, and hand it to someone else this week.
A moveBefore your next decision, choose to let someone else's answer stand — even if it is not the one you would give.
A moveAsk your team what they see failing before you tell them what you see.
A moveWrite down what actually happens if you are wrong that only you can catch the failure. Read it.
A moveGive one person real authority, not just a task, and let the outcome belong to them.
