What’s really going on

Single parenting is genuinely one of the hardest jobs there is, and a lot of the exhaustion is real math — one person doing what's structurally meant for more than one. So the first honest thing is to stop measuring yourself against two-parent households or some ideal; you're running a harder race and mostly winning it. The work isn't to try harder — you're already at your limit — it's to build what support you can, let the non-essential go, and protect enough of yourself that there's someone left to do the loving.
