When I try to decide, I attempt to imagine actually living with each outcome — and I cannot picture either future clearly enough to know which I would prefer. Without being able to inhabit the consequences in advance, I feel I am choosing blind, and so I do not choose at all, waiting for a clarity about the future I have no way to get.
This week, accept that you cannot fully picture either future, and choose on what you know now. No one can inhabit a decision before making it; clarity comes from living it, not foreseeing it.
