Why can our pod do basic motion but not the complex animation?
You and your pod can do the basic motion now. That was hard once. Now it is easy, so you assume the complex animation is just more of the same, done faster. That assumption is the wall you keep hitting. Complex animation is not a bigger version of what you already know. It is several small motions, timed against each other, often across more than one person. If you rehearse it whole, you rehearse your own confusion. You get faster at failing. The fix is not more effort at the same speed. It is finding the exact frame where it breaks, isolating that piece, and drilling it alone before you put it back with the others.
You are still doing the basic motion, only faster — that is not the same skill. Complex animation is many small motions layered in time. Break it into the smallest piece that fails when done wrong. Drill that piece alone. Rebuild the whole from parts you have each proven, together.
What changes unlock by starting
- You can name the exact segment that fails, not just that the whole thing does.
- Each person can perform their isolated piece without hesitation.
- The pod can run the full sequence slow, without stopping, before trying it fast.
- Your confidence rests on repetition you have done, not hope that it will click.
