You can't stick to any exercise

You start — the gym, the running, the plan — and you're into it for a week or three, then life happens or you miss a few and it's gone, again. There's a pile of abandoned starts behind you and a familiar voice that says you're just not disciplined enough. Meanwhile your body would genuinely feel better if you moved, and you know it.

What’s really going on

Let's start by dropping the story that you keep failing because you're lazy — that story is doing you no good, and it isn't even true. Most exercise plans are built to punish, to fix a body you're supposed to dislike, and bodies don't stick with punishment for long. What lasts is movement that's small enough to actually keep, chosen because it makes you feel a little better, not because you're atoning for something. We'll meet your real body and real week where they are, gently, and build something you won't have to white-knuckle.
