Why don't my outreach messages get replies?

You call it outreach. Strip the word away - it is a letter to a stranger, asking for their time. Most such letters fail for simple reasons. They ask for nothing specific. They run too long. They were written for your comfort, not the reader's. You already know this. You have sent enough messages to see the pattern - silence, silence, silence, then one reply. You do not know why that one worked. That not-knowing is the real problem. You are busy, but you are not learning. The fix is not a better template. It is attention. Read your last ten messages. Count the words. Count the asks. Notice what you already know and refuse to act on. Choose to act on it now.

The reader needs a few clear rules about what makes a message answerable, but mostly needs to be pushed to examine and fix their own patterns.

What’s really going on

You write to impress, not to be answered. Fix that first. Say one clear thing. Ask for one small action. Then count your replies, not your effort. When a message fails ten times, stop sending it. Choose to learn from the silence instead of repeating it.

A movePull your last ten messages. Read them as the stranger would, not as you wrote them.
A moveCut every sentence that explains you. Keep only the sentence that asks.
A moveName one clear action you want. Not 'connect' or 'pick your brain' - the actual thing.
A moveWrite to fewer people. Name each one's actual situation in the first line.
A moveTrack every reply. When a message fails three times running, stop sending it.
