You're burnt out and your body is paying for it

You've been running on empty for so long your body started sending the bills — the headaches, the gut, the constant colds, the wired-tired, the tension that won't release. You keep pushing because stopping isn't an option, or feels like it isn't. But your body has stopped asking nicely, and it's getting harder to ignore.

What’s really going on

Burnout isn't just a tired mind — it's a body that's been in stress-response for too long, and eventually the body starts collecting on the debt: the immune system, the gut, the sleep, the tension, the sense that something's just off. Those symptoms deserve a doctor's look. But the deeper truth is that no supplement or spa day fixes burnout while the thing that's burning you out continues. This is one where the body is telling you something the rest of you has been overriding: the load is unsustainable. We can work on recovery and boundaries — but honestly, part of this is facing that something has to actually change, not just be endured better.
