You're the family peacekeeper and you're exhausted

You are the one who smooths things over, calms everyone down, holds the family together when it threatens to crack. Everyone leans on you to keep the peace — and no one asks what it costs you. You are tired in a way that goes all the way down.

What’s really going on

Being the family's peacekeeper is a real gift you give — and a role that can quietly eat the giver alive. The tiredness you feel is the bill coming due. The work is not to abandon your family but to see the cost, to let go of conflicts that are not yours to fix, and to let them finally meet the whole person behind the role — needs, limits, opinions and all. You are allowed to be more than the wall everyone leans on.
